This app presents an overview of one of the fastest growing market segments in
the firearms industry. The pocket pistol is a small semi-automatic handgun-designed for compact concealed carry.

101 Pocket Pistols App features:
~101 of the hottest pocket pistols on the market today with specs, price & manufacturer info
~State-By-State Carry Laws with permit costs, lengths and issuing authority info
~a summary of the 2nd amendment
~a Start & Stop SHOOT animation feature that demonstrates how a Pocket Pistol round is stored, loaded & fired.
The cutaway lets Users see how the previous shot powers a fresh cartridge up the chamber/magazine clip. After a round (shot) is fired, the spent casing is ejected and a new round from the magazine (stored in the pistol grip) is loaded into the chamber.

The small caliber pocket pistol barrel is approximately six inches or less. They are manufactured with smooth edges
to prevent snagging on clothing or holsters.

Although sometimes referred to as "minis" or "mouse-guns", the pocket pistol is not to be underestimated
and is a leading backup weapon among law enforcement authorities.

Todays pocket pistols have come a long way from their predecessors. The pocket pistol originated in the mid-17th century as a small, concealable flintlock known as the Queen Anne Pistol, the coat pistol, or the pocket pistol. In the 1830s, The Derringer,
designed by Philadelphia gunsmith Henry Derringer (yes, only one r) became a popular vest-sized pocket pistol.
Todays pocket pistols feature laser grips and up to 19 rounds. Pocket Pistol users today include both concealed handgun licensed private citizens and police officers, who want to pack a self-defense gun or carry it as a backup gun.

Concealed carry is legal in the majority of the U.S. but laws vary from
state-to-state.  Sale, possession or interstate transportation may be restricted, prohibited or subject to
special licensing requirements. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of our carry laws guide, but legislation
does change so please check with the issuing authority for the most up to date information.
